My name is Julie Krepps and I am the clinical therapist at All Saints Catholic School. I work with Saint Louis Counseling to provide mental health services at All Saints Catholic School, and I am very grateful to have the opportunity to work with you and your children. I want to introduce myself, let you know how I plan to assist the school and children, how your child can receive mental health services, and how to contact me with any questions or concerns.
To tell you a bit about me, I am originally from the South Saint Louis County area. I attended Mehlville High School, then started my undergraduate work at STLCC-Meramec and finished at Truman State University with my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice Systems. I then traveled to Cape Girardeau, MO to complete my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southeast Missouri State University. Throughout my degree, I did clinical work with a variety of populations which focused heavily on concerns such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, disordered eating, and trauma. I currently enjoy a great opportunity working with Saint Louis Counseling’s School Partnership Program.
I meet with students for a variety of issues related to school adjustment, emotional and social issues, family and friendship issues, or other barriers that may prevent a student from learning and growing. I will be meeting with students individually, however will meet the needs of students, teachers, and the school to provide psychoeducational groups and/or classroom presentations as needed or requested. I will meet with students at a time that works best for them and teachers. Meetings with students are confidential, with exceptions including suspected abuse or neglect, presence of harm by the child toward another or themselves, and in instances where court orders are presented.
I am at All Saints on Tuesdays during regular school hours to meet with students. If you would like me to meet with your child, please contact the school office for counseling paperwork. Please also feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, or preferences. My email address is jkrepps@ccstl.org.
I am looking forward to a great school year!
Ms. Julie Krepps, MA, PLPC
