I'm Caitlyn Ulery, the Coordinator of Youth Ministries at All Saints Catholic Parish. I'm thrilled to introduce you to EDGE, our exceptional Catholic middle school youth ministry program. As adolescents, middle school youth are going through a time of immense change in their lives. They are starting to make decisions for themselves, beginning to act largely based on feedback from their peers, and becoming more independent from their parents. Middle school teens are trying to figure out who they are and have questions about their faith and beliefs. In short, middle school teens are on the edge. They are trying to find where they belong in the world. And EDGE is the perfect place for them to start looking.
Those in grades 6-8 are welcome to join us every Monday evening throughout the year (with exception to some holidays) to seek answers to their faith-related questions in a safe and enjoyable space, and above all, encounter Jesus in a meaningful and personal manner. Catholic and Non-Catholic alike - ALL ARE WELCOME! Additionally, we often gather for various social or service nights. Our social nights have been a blast, featuring themes like Beach Parties, Flour Bomb Night, and Holiday Parties providing our youth with memorable moments.
For those in 8th grade, we present the Luke 18 retreat every Spring, a highlight of our yearly calendar! This weekend-long, transformative retreat is led by our dedicated high school teens, who not only deliver insightful talks but also facilitate small group discussions. It offers valuable insights into living out one's faith in high school, combining meaningful discussions with games and music. Keep a lookout for registration forms in the Fall - this is an experience you won't want to miss!
