Math+ explores one major idea from Stanford University’s introductory math sequence, offering world-class content tailored to younger students. The goal of Math+ is to inspire students and make math enjoyable, which it accomplishes effectively.
This season’s Math+ course will be held at Christian Brothers College High School on Wednesdays from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, beginning on Wednesday, February 5th, and running for three weeks. The cost of the program is $250, and families can sign up through our school office.
This Spring, the course will focus on the concept of Infinity, defined as “something without any limit.” Infinity has applications across many fields, but is particularly important in mathematics, where it has been central to the field since 1655, when mathematician John Wallis first defined its symbol.
The Math+ program is open to all interested All Saints students, and those with a talent or strong interest in math, as well as those looking to perform well on standardized exams, will particularly benefit.
For any questions or more information, families are encouraged to reach out. This is an exciting opportunity to deepen understanding of math and be part of an engaging learning experience.
